Artificial Intelligence

 What is artificial intelligence?

Artificial intelligence is technology that enables devices to learn, read, write, talk, see, create, play, analyse etc.

Artificial intelligence is the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems. Specific applications of AI include expert systems, natural language processing, speech recognition and machine vision and many more.

Although there have been numerous cycles of hype around artificial intelligence, even detractors appear to agree that OpenAI's ChatGPT represents a sea change. The previous time generative AI was this significant, advances in computer vision led the way; this time, natural language processing (NLP) is leading the way. Not only can generative models understand human language, but they can also understand the grammar of various other data kinds, including software code, chemicals, and natural imagery. Some no-code interfaces allow non-programmers to construct and alter programmes fast and effectively using drag-and-drop functionality and visual interfaces; the real code is kept hidden in the background.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the foundation of innovation in contemporary computing, enabling organisations and individuals to realise value. Using artificial intelligence (AI), optical character recognition (OCR) transforms unstructured content into structured data that is ready for business use and provides insightful information.

The applications for this technology are growing every day, and we’re just starting to explore the possibilities. But as the hype around the use of AI tools in business takes off, conversations around ethics become critically important

RPA

RPA? How robotic process automation streamlines business processes Two kinds of RPA: Attended and unattended Attended automation Attended automation allows you to focus on more high-value work across your organisation. It does this by automating repetitive, manual, front-office activities and mimics actions you perform on your desktop or browser, like mouse clicks, by recording and playing back these actions in real time. Unattended automation By contrast, as its name suggests, unattended automation doesn’t require someone to be at their computer. Instead, unattended bots do the work by themselves recording and playing back actions. Because they can use triggers and schedule automated events, they’re ideal for accelerating the automation of high-volume tasks across your organisation. Faster ROI and improved compliance Because they don’t require custom code from the development team, bots are a very low-cost solution. They’re also easy to implement quickly. As a result, ROI from impleme

Renewable Energy

What is renewable energy? Renewable energy, green energy, or low-carbon energy is energy from renewable resources that are naturally replenished on a human timescale. Renewable energy, often referred to as clean energy, comes from natural sources or processes that are constantly replenished.  Sunlight and wind, for example, are such sources that are constantly being replenished. Renewable energy sources are plentiful and all around us. While renewable energy is often thought of as a new technology, harnessing nature’s power has long been used for heating, transportation, lighting, and more. Now that we have innovative and less-expensive ways to capture and retain wind and solar energy, renewables are becoming a more important power source. Types of Renewable Energy Sources SOLAR ENERGY WIND ENERGY GEOTHERMAL ENERGY HYDROPOWER OCEAN ENERGY BIOENERGY Renewable energy is often deployed together with further electrification, which has several benefits: electricity can move heat or object

Internet of Things (IoT)

Internet of Things (IoT)? IoT has become one of the most important technologies of the 21st century. Now that we can connect everyday objects—kitchen appliances, cars, thermostats, baby monitors—to the internet via embedded devices, seamless communication is possible between people, processes, and things. By means of low-cost computing, the cloud, big data, analytics, and mobile technologies, physical things can share and collect data with minimal human intervention. Access to low-cost, low-power sensor technology Connectivity Cloud computing platforms Machine learning and analytics Conversational artificial intelligence (AI) With IoT, data is transferable over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interactions. How does IoT work? An IoT ecosystem consists of web-enabled smart devices that use embedded systems -- such as processors, sensors and communication hardware -- to collect, send and act on data they acquire from their environments.
